This oversight extends to Multicultural Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) as well, which often fail to offer specialised services for caste-oppressed communities. With current funding models at all levels of government neglecting community organisations that represent these marginalised groups, it restricts the NGOs’ ability to adequately support them. This overarching negligence continues to perpetuate caste discrimination and deepens the social exclusion experienced by caste-oppressed communities in Australia.
